Bentley Continental GT

The Bentley Continental GT is a luxury coupé, so make sure your pockets are deep enough before falling in love with this car. Because if luxury and extravagance are your kind of thing, you’ll have a tough time not falling in love with this Bentley model.
The Continental GT was released in 1980’s as a replacement
for the previous Rolls-Royce Continental T and R models. This Bentley
model is obviously inspired by the manufacturers coupé hits from
the 50's that symbolized the epitome of style, speed and comfort.
The first Continental GT models were equipped with a twin-turbo 12-cylinder
engine, the all-weather confidence of all-wheel drive, and a sumptuous
cabin. The newest versions are still as sleek and stylish as ever, but
they have the added advantage of a 6.0-liter, twin-turbo W12 engine with
552 horsepower, 479 pound-feet of torque and a six-speed automatic transmission.
As far supercars as go, the Bentley Continental GT is no slowpoke. The
car can go from 0 to 60 mph in only 4.4 seconds, not bad at all for a
luxury coupe. The Bentley Continental GT has released several models up
to this date. The Flying Spur, displayed at the 2005 Geneva Motor Show
is a four-door variant of the GT, but you can also take your pick from
the convertible version - the GTC – or the GTC Speed, the buffed
up twin of the GT.
The Bentley Continental GT is the car that broke the world speed record
on ice in 2007, reaching a maximum of about 2005 mph. How is that for
a coupé? The GT might be expensive, but it is a good deal considering
its performance (and not to forget all those great features like parking
sensors, climate control or xenon lights).
